The Children's Book Council

A non-profit trade organization dedicated to encouraging literacy and the use and enjoyment of children’s books. Lots of good information about other authors and illustrators, too.

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators

SCBWI is a professional organization dedicated to serving the people who write, illustrate, or share a vital interest in children’s literature.
